WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING THE TITLE DEED
Do you know why you should survey and register your land property?
In the first world countries, like UK and many others , including Botswana, particularly in Towns and big villages like in Maun,You just go to the bank with your title deed and valuation report of your land property and get the mortgage loan from the bank and develop your land and let it pay back the loan.
So make sure you have a title deed of your land and do as said and see how it works.
But there is a condition you should meet once and for all:
You cannot have a title deed without having gone through a registered land surveyor, as prescribed in the Land Survey Act of 1959 (No.80 of 1959) (as amended thereunder)
This is where Britlo (Pty) Ltd and many other surveying companies come in.
Our time line is three weeks from the date of giving us instructions to carry out the survey of your land property.
It is required by Tribal Land Act of 1968 and land survey act of 1959, that you should have a lease agreement with the land Board before you can think of survey and registering your title.
So make sure you have your lease from the Land board and make sure in the lease, your attributes like your names, marital regime information and your spouse names are clearly recorded.
If you have all those documents in good records, it helps us to meet our timeline of three weeks.
In our office we shall need certified copy of ID, Affidavit of names and birth, we shall provide that, and a letter that authorizes us to register your title and bring it back to you. We will help you in doing that.
For companies, we will need all company document all certified. For non citizens, their document are certified by their Embassies.
We are the fastest and most reliable and honest.
