We’re proud to announce that Raelyn has been promoted to Foreman!

Since joining Glenco in 2018, she’s brought precision and determination to every task, from bending pipe to booting up fire alarm systems. In her new role, she will oversee the safe completion of electrical projects, coordinate field teams, and make sure every job delivers the Glenco standard our clients count on.

As a foreman, she also gets her own shop key. Here she is with her stepdad, Greg Tempel (also recently promoted–congrats, Greg!), giving her a how-to on the alarm system.

Raelyn is the first woman to step into this role at Glenco, paving the way for others and marking a significant milestone for our team. We’re very proud!

Parallel 32

We couldn’t be happier to be a part of this state-of-the-art multi-tenant industrial facility. Fairly close to home, this project boasts an impressive 186,000 sq ft over 14 tenant commercial/industrial buildings. It’s always exciting to be part of a project that’s innovative and well situated. Parallel 32 offers occupiers brand new warehouse space within one of the fastest growing industrial areas in Canada.

Constructed and managed by Beedie, Parallel 32 is located at the gateway to Surrey’s sought-after Campbell Heights North Business Park. This project kindly gave us the opportunity to once again work alongside Engineers: SML Construction Group.

Welcome to the Robert G Kuhn Building at Trinity Western University.

We were showered in light throughout the construction of this stunning building thanks to the design of Architects

Getting the opportunity to work closely to home, on such a highly anticipated building, has been an experience our crew won’t soon forget. Leading the way and ensuring this job goes according to plan was left in the highly capable hands of . We were also fortunate enough to once again work along side Electrical Engineers Smith and Anderson.

The four-storey mass timber atrium building is a landmark building that marks the entry to the university’s Langley, B.C. campus. It will be the future home of the School of Business, GLOBAL, and Student Life’s Global Engagement Office (GEO), and a multi-functional facility for students and faculty. I imagine there are many very happy students this fall with the completion of this highly anticipated campus extension.

We are so pleased to be completing the finishing touches on this gorgeous building. Skwo:wech Elementary was built over the past two years to replace the pre-existing Richard McBride Elementary. The project hummed along smoothly thanks to Heatherbrae Construction and AES Electrical Consultants.

The name Skwo:wech is the halq’eméylem word for sturgeon, and speaks to the primary food source for Indigenous Peoples who travelled and fished up and down the Fraser River before commercial fishing boats began operating in the area. The school’s PAC initiated the name change, with support of the board, through community feedback and consultation with Chief Larrabee of the Qayqayt First Nation and local stakeholder groups. The name honours Coast Salish peoples’ connections to the Fraser River and reflects both the wisdom and resilience of the sturgeon.
