Last week, after 14 incredible years with JAPA, we said happy retirement to one of the very best—Ernie.

Ernie has been a cornerstone of our team, bringing immense skill, knowledge, and craftsmanship to everything he touched. From complex builds and customizations to solving the toughest problems in the shop, he was always the go-to—and somehow always found the answer.

More importantly, Ernie is just a great person. The kind of teammate who makes the days better, the challenges easier, and the whole operation stronger.

We’ve been incredibly lucky to have him as part of JAPA for the past 14 years, and his impact here will last well beyond his time in the shop.

While we’ll miss him a whole lot, we’re so excited for him to enjoy this next chapter—spending time with his wife Sue, his grandkids, and everything retirement has to offer.

Wishing you all the best, Ernie. You’ve earned it 👏

This field call came in from a customer moving tight timelines. Within hours, our mobile tech was on site and turning wrenches. The goal? Zero lost production tomorrow.
