It's not officially spring even though it feels like it. Just shoveled the last of the snow off the deck.

Peter Pew our founder at both businesses, my papa, my dad's dad, my grama's husband of 78 years, grandfather and great grandfather and a special Uncle Pete has passed away. He made it to his 99th year. We'll always treasure our memories. He could make you laugh telling a story or just a silly joke. He was a pool shark, a card player, a friend to many ( many all over the place- I've seen the Christmas cards!). He loved Oliphant and was proud of his monument business that we now run in his honour.
