It comes with heavy hearts that we have to address a very disappointing situation that happened today involving Zach Green with Greens Seasonal Services.
We sent Zach out to complete a job on behalf of SamedayDeals, which is something we have regularly done when overloaded or out of town. A price and wage were agreed upon beforehand, as usual.
At the end of the day, the client was persuaded to send the remaining balance directly to Zach instead of our company, despite prior agreements. Zach had already been prepaid for this job and was also prepaid for upcoming work.
As a small business, situations like this hurt us heavily. We work extremely hard to keep both our customers and workers happy, and it’s extremely disappointing when trust is broken after consistently providing work opportunities and support for him and his family.
We will be making changes moving forward regarding how subcontracted work and payments are handled.
We do not enjoy bringing personal or business disputes online, but we also believe in being transparent with our community and customers. We have screenshots, payment records, and supporting documentation regarding this situation.
Unfortunately the client also plays a role in this.
She was under contract to pay the remaining balance to us upon completion and to zachs persuasion she voided that contract.
Please use your own judgment moving forward.
