NEW PROJECT // A project that truly matters.

Eenou Eeyou Construction has been awarded the contract for the construction of the Chisasibi Sabtuan Learning Centre, in the heart of the Cree community of Chisasibi.

Classrooms, science lab, training workshops, cafeteria, library, outdoor gathering spaces. A complete facility built to educate the next generation.

🚧 We’re Hiring – Health & Safety Coordinator (Construction Site) 🚧
We are looking for someone proactive, field-oriented, and passionate about creating a safe and positive work environment for everyone on site.
🔹 Responsibilities include:
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and regulations
• Conducting site inspections and safety meetings
• Supporting and promoting a strong safety culture
• Working closely with project teams and subcontractors
🔹 Requirements:
• Experience in construction site health & safety coordination
• Knowledge of Quebec construction safety regulations
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid certifications related to occupational health & safety

In collaboration with Mithamin and Hardy, we are proud to announce that, as part of the 25-duplex project, one of the units will be built by participants in our training program, delivered directly within the community.

This program, designed for you, is a concrete opportunity to learn a trade, work on a real construction site, and contribute to the future of Chisasibi.

Start date: June 1st, 2026
Location: Chisasibi
Prerequisites: A strong interest in construction; ASP Construction certification is an asset but not required.

Eenou-Eeyou Construction is proud to announce the construction of 25 duplexes in Chisasibi, a meaningful project for the community, carried out with the support of our partners Mithamin and Hardy Construction .

This project is a concrete vision: quality housing, built here, by and for community members. And this is only the beginning.

What makes us especially proud? One of the units will be built by students as part of our new training program, delivered directly on-site by our team. Training the next generation of construction workers on a real job site, that's what drives us! 🙏🏼

Ongoing Construction in Chisasibi – Almshouse Project

We are proud to announce that Eenou Eeyou Construction is currently carrying out the Almshouse Project in Chisasibi, in collaboration with the Cree Nation Government.

Work began last August and aims to build a shelter for people in need — a welcoming and supportive space designed to assist the community’s most vulnerable members.

The 985 m² building will include 26 rooms, a communal kitchen, and shared living areas designed to foster connection and mutual support. It will accommodate both short- and long-term stays for its residents.

Construction is progressing quickly: the exterior walls are now in place, and completion is scheduled for summer 2026.

We are pleased to be working on this meaningful project with trusted partners Figurr, Norinfra, Carbonic, and Englobe. Together, we are helping to build a place of hope and solidarity for those in need.

Chantier en cours à Chisasibi – Projet Almshouse

Nous sommes fiers d’annoncer qu’Eenou Eeyou Construction réalise actuellement le projet Almshouse à Chisasibi, en collaboration avec le Cree Nation Government.

Les travaux, amorcés en août dernier, visent la construction d’un refuge pour les personnes dans le besoin — un lieu d’accueil et de soutien destiné à venir en aide aux personnes démunies.

Ce bâtiment de 985 m² comprendra 26 chambres, une cuisine communautaire ainsi que des espaces communs favorisant la convivialité et l’entraide. Il sera aménagé de façon à accueillir des résidents pour des séjours de courte et de longue durée.

Le chantier progresse rapidement : les murs extérieurs sont maintenant érigés, et la livraison du bâtiment est prévue à l’été 2026.

Nous sommes heureux de collaborer sur ce beau projet avec des partenaires de confiance tels que Figurr , Norinfra, Carbonic et Englobe. Ensemble, nous contribuons à bâtir un lieu porteur d’espoir et de solidarité pour des gens dans le besoin.

Projet District Sud-Central | Collaboration nordique à Chisasibi
Depuis mai dernier, un projet mené par Eenou Eeyou a pris forme dans la communauté de Chisasibi, au cœur du territoire nordique. Ce chantier témoigne d’une mobilisation concertée et respectueuse de l’environnement nordique.

Travaux réalisés :

-Excavation et gestion environnementale des sols contaminés

-Installation complète des réseaux d’aqueduc, d’égout sanitaire et pluvial

-Mise en place des infrastructures routières

-Aménagement paysager

Ce projet se démarque par une collaboration solide entre :

-Eenou Eeyou, maître d’œuvre enraciné dans la communauté

-Hardy Construction, entrepreneur général engagé et expérimenté

-Groupe Genius, partenaire en ingénierie et gestion technique

Tout au long du chantier, une attention particulière est portée au respect des écosystèmes nordiques et à l’intégration harmonieuse des infrastructures dans leur milieu.

District Sud-Central Project | Northern Collaboration in Chisasibi
Since last May, a major project led by Eenou Eeyou has taken shape in the community of Chisasibi, in the heart of the northern territory. This project reflects a collaborative effort carried out with deep respect for the northern environment.

Work completed:

Excavation and environmental management of contaminated soils

Full installation of water supply, sanitary and storm sewer networks

Construction of road infrastructure

Landscaping and site finishing

This project stands out thanks to a strong collaboration between:

Eenou Eeyou, the project owner rooted in the community

Hardy Construction, a committed and experienced general contractor

Groupe Genius, a key partner in engineering and project management

Throughout the work, special attention has been paid to protecting northern ecosystems and ensuring that all infrastructure integrates harmoniously into its environment.
