5 days on the worksite. And it already shows.

Our 6 carpentry-joinery apprentices in Chisasibi have been hard at it since the start of the week, and the pace speaks for itself: punctual, consistent, and already ahead of the training plan.

That's the strength of a project built on the ground, together.

Eenou Eeyou Construction, the joint venture between Hardy Construction and Mithamin Transport & Construction, is taking shape one worksite day at a time.

𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 // Big Launch on Tuesday, July 7th

A carpentry-joinery training program has launched in the community, led by Eenou Eeyou Construction in collaboration with Hardy Construction and the community of Chisasibi. Community members are now learning a trade that will shape the job sites of tomorrow, right here on their own territory.

This kind of program goes beyond teaching technical skills. It creates concrete, locally-rooted opportunities and paves the way for a new generation who will be able to build their own community's projects for years to come.

Cree territory continues to grow, and this training program is a key part of that. A new generation of workers is preparing, and Chisasibi's future is also being written through initiatives like this one.

Eenou Eeyou Construction is proud to take on the construction of the Chisasibi Municipal Garage, a new centre dedicated to municipal operations and public works: administrative offices, garage, warehouses, building envelope and exterior site work.

Immediate ban on all drone flights over the Chisasibi territory, until further notice.

SOPFEU is currently conducting aerial water-dropping operations in the area. Every drone detected forces an immediate abandonment of flights, slowing firefighting efforts and putting lives at risk.

NEW PROJECT // A project that truly matters.

Eenou Eeyou Construction has been awarded the contract for the construction of the Chisasibi Sabtuan Learning Centre, in the heart of the Cree community of Chisasibi.

Classrooms, science lab, training workshops, cafeteria, library, outdoor gathering spaces. A complete facility built to educate the next generation.

🚧 We’re Hiring – Health & Safety Coordinator (Construction Site) 🚧
We are looking for someone proactive, field-oriented, and passionate about creating a safe and positive work environment for everyone on site.
🔹 Responsibilities include:
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and regulations
• Conducting site inspections and safety meetings
• Supporting and promoting a strong safety culture
• Working closely with project teams and subcontractors
🔹 Requirements:
• Experience in construction site health & safety coordination
• Knowledge of Quebec construction safety regulations
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid certifications related to occupational health & safety

In collaboration with Mithamin and Hardy, we are proud to announce that, as part of the 25-duplex project, one of the units will be built by participants in our training program, delivered directly within the community.

This program, designed for you, is a concrete opportunity to learn a trade, work on a real construction site, and contribute to the future of Chisasibi.

Prerequisites: A strong interest in construction; ASP Construction certification is an asset but not required.

Eenou-Eeyou Construction is proud to announce the construction of 25 duplexes in Chisasibi, a meaningful project for the community, carried out with the support of our partners Mithamin and Hardy Construction .

This project is a concrete vision: quality housing, built here, by and for community members. And this is only the beginning.

What makes us especially proud? One of the units will be built by students as part of our new training program, delivered directly on-site by our team. Training the next generation of construction workers on a real job site, that's what drives us! 🙏🏼
