Front porch restoration 🙏

On this project we removed the deck boards and installed new ones, sanded off old paint and built a new railing before applying a couple coats of solid stain to finish it off.

On this project we fixed a leaking tub and replaced rotted subfloor, rebuilt faulty framing for the new shower surround, removed old tiles, installed Schluter Ditra uncoupling membrane and laid new tiles over top. We Finished things off with fresh drywall and skim-coated the ceiling/sanded everything down so it was paint ready. The home owner crushed the final touches. 🙌

Hello everyone 😁

I want to take a moment to dive into a quick update and introduction!

I’d like to start off by introducing ourselves for those who may not know us yet. My name is Ryan and on my left is my brother Chris. We proudly run McCue Renovations. Our roots are firmly planted here in Barrie Ontario. We were fortunate to be raised and shaped within the home renovation industry by our father, and the successful owner of Innovative Home Improvements. From a young age Dad always taught us to put our best foot forward in our work and to always take pride in what we do. He lead by example, teaching us the skills we know and continue to sharpen up on as time goes by. He’s shown us how to be the personable and tentative men we are today.

Chris and I have been shaped by years in the construction field, both through the family business and experience with home builders. Chris is gold seal certified in building code and blueprint reading, completed through George Brown college with an ongoing education. We have honed our entrepreneurial skills through the Further Faster program offered at the Sandbox centre here in Barrie and are furthering our education there.

One undeniable truth is that my brother and I share an unwavering passion for home remodelling. Few experiences in life rival the sense of accomplishment that comes after days, weeks, or even months of dedicated hard work on a job well done.

Our vision is straightforward, we’re a home remodelling business dedicated to transforming homeowners’ dreams into reality.

Appreciation post❕

…This past summer we helped our Mom + Dad wrap up a big project here in Barrie, turning a single family home into a 6 unit apartment building. As some of you know, over the last few years the McCue family has been working on this project…heck….you might have even helped us 😉

Working beside our Dad, brothers and some close friends has been an amazing experience and is a huge part in what gave us the confidence to start McCue Renovations. It was a big dream a few years ago, and it’s so beautiful to see it all wrapped up.

Thank you to everyone for all of the support along the way! ❤️🏡
