Lately I’ve had the honour to get to work alongside Fortress Windows And Doors on some of there jobs with the one and only, Steven McCue. My uncle has worked in the window and door business for over 40 years and his knowledge, skill set and craftsmanship with all window and door installations shows for it. He is a master of the trade with countless hours spent servicing Barrie, Simcoe County and the broader GTA and surrounding areas. He built Fortress many years ago and overtime has grown it into the extremely successful business it is today with the help of his right hand man Richard and his sales representative Steve. To say these guy’s are rock stars in what they do wouldn’t quite cut it so their internet presence can give you a better idea. Approaching well over 100 five star google reviews and 364 five star reviews on Home Star’s shows that there is a level of integrity and standard that is the backbone of my uncles business. Getting to work with his crew on installation projects and sales calls has been the ultimate form of mentorship for me. Working alongside true veterans of this industry is as humbling as it is rewarding to experience how a business like Fortress operates and services each and every one of their clients. As a business owner, having the opportunity to learn from another business that has created such a great legacy in their industry has been an invaluable experience and one I continue to admire.
