CONTENT CREATOR & VIDEOGRAPHER
Part-Time / Ongoing Position
Burchat Homes is looking for a creative and dependable individual to help bring our projects—and the people behind them—to life.
We want to produce content that is highly professional while still being fun, genuine and engaging. From documenting the progress of a custom build to showcasing a finished home, the goal is to create content that people actually enjoy watching.
This is a permanent but occasional role with flexible hours. The amount of work will vary based on construction milestones and completed projects. We are looking for an individual who can grow with our company—not a marketing agency.
Responsibilities will include:
* Visiting job sites to photograph and film project progress
* Creating engaging short-form videos for Facebook and Instagram
* Producing polished showcase videos of completed homes
* Capturing our team, workmanship and behind-the-scenes moments
* Editing photos and videos into professional, ready-to-post content
* Developing creative ideas that fit the Burchat Homes brand
* Organizing project photos and footage for future use
The ideal candidate:
* Has experience creating and editing social-media content
* Can produce professional-quality photography and video
* Has a strong eye for detail and knows how to tell a story
* Can make construction content feel interesting, approachable and authentic
* Is creative, dependable and comfortable working independently
* Has reliable transportation and can travel to project locations
* Is comfortable working safely around active construction sites
* Ideally has their own camera, video and editing equipment, although equipment requirements can be discussed
Drone experience and knowledge of social-media management would be considered assets but are not required.
This may be structured as a part-time payroll position or an independent contractor arrangement, depending on the successful candidate. Compensation will be based on experience, ability and equipment provided.
