This week is Safety and Health Week, and it is a great opportunity to recognize the people and practices that help keep our teams safe. 👷‍♀️

We recently connected with Leanne Dempsey, Safety Trainer with OSCO Group Services, to learn what safety topics are receiving the most focus in training right now. With high risk activities part of daily operations, current priorities include crane and rigging operations, fall protection, lockout and tagout procedures, and building strong OHS knowledge among supervisors.

As Leanne noted, effective safety training helps build a culture of awareness and accountability while supporting safe work practices across all job sites.

Thank you to Leanne, and to the many safety professionals across our operations in Atlantic Canada and Ontario, whose work helps protect our people and strengthen our safety culture every day. 👏

Rebar placement recently completed on a bridge project near Crescent Beach, Nova Scotia. 🏖

This work highlights the precision, planning, and coordination required to place rebar accurately across complex site conditions. From layout to installation, the focus remains on quality workmanship and attention to detail, regardless of location.

A great example of the craftsmanship our Allstar Rebar team brings to projects across the province. 👏

April 28 marks the National Day of Mourning in Canada.

Today, we pause to remember and honour workers who have lost their lives, been injured, or become ill due to workplace hazards.

We also reflect on the responsibility we all share to create safer, healthier work environments. Remembering those affected reinforces why safety must always remain at the forefront of everything we do.

Five years since the completion of the QEII Parking Garage in Halifax. 🏥

Allstar Rebar supported this project through the supply and installation of reinforcing steel, working alongside OSCO companies to deliver a key piece of infrastructure for the QEII Health Sciences Centre.
