Another finished space in this custom build.

Clean, simple finishes give this bathroom a fresh, modern feel, with white cabinetry, black countertops and hardware, a glass shower, and a backlit mirror bringing everything together.

A great example of how thoughtful finishes can make even the smaller spaces in a custom home feel polished and connected to the rest of the build.

Looking back at past projects. This home didn’t need to be rebuilt to feel completely refreshed. New exterior finishes, updated colours and trim, and a new covered front entry with beautiful timber details gave it a whole new look, while still keeping the character of the original home.

Sometimes a well-planned exterior renovation is all it takes to make an older home feel new again.

A little extra room to live.

This lower-level family space adds so much to this custom home.
A comfortable, flexible area with plenty of room for movie nights, kids to hang out, or family and friends to gather.

We love the details that carry through the home, from the clean finishes and natural wood accents to the glass railing and subtle stair lighting.

A custom home isn’t just about how it looks, it’s about creating spaces that work for the people who live there.

Outdoor spaces should be every bit as inviting as the home itself.
From the warmth of the cedar custom gable detailing to the a custom outdoor shower with a handcrafted cedar privacy screen, the carefully finished details all come together to create a space that's both beautiful and functional.
It's these finishing touches that transform a house into a place you'll love coming home to.

Reflecting on an incredible honour.

As we look back at project, we're reminded just how fortunate we are to be part of such an amazing community.

From 2019 through 2025, Coast Catalyst Construction has been recognized by the Comox Valley Record Readers' Choice Awards as a winner in both Home Builder and Home Improvement. It's an honour that means so much because it's chosen by the people in our community.

These awards aren't something we ever expect or take for granted. They remind us that the relationships we build are just as important as the homes we build.

Throwback to one of our favourite outdoor transformations.

Some projects are worth revisiting.

This backyard transformation may have been completed years ago, but it's still one of our favourites. From the custom cedar deck to the privacy fence and thoughtfully designed outdoor living spaces, every detail was built to create a place where family and friends could gather for years to come.

Great craftsmanship never goes out of style, and neither does creating spaces that bring people together.
