Using Creaform laser 3D scanning, we have scanned aircraft structures, cockpits, seats, small parts, and exteriors in support of both our project and our customers needs.

Great news in the True North Aero team today. We are pleased to announce the appointment of our first Design Approval Representative (DAR), Jonathan Francki.

With this appointment, True North Aero can now offer full aircraft modification and repair design approvals.

We’ve been busy in the shop again! True North Aero is 3D printing ear saver straps for members of the medical community. Our 3D printer has been going non-stop for days and we’ve delivered over a hundred of these straps.
This is our tiny contribution toward the fight against Covid-19. If anyone is interested in these straps, please contact us for more information.

We've just wrapped up our second approval! This process repair complements our last PDA for the cowl latch, expanding our ability to address the common issues DHC-8 operators face with their engine cowl access doors.

We’ve been pretty quiet on Facebook lately, but it’s because we’ve been busy in the shop!

We’re busy working on our next four projects, but we’ll keep posting updates as we go.

Inter Aero and True North Aero are offering De Havilland DHC-8 engine cowl access door latches, which include a replacement shear pin. The shear pins were approved in collaboration with MPDAR and are a direct replacement for the existing latch pins.
