Well, it finally happened. Someone bought that piece of land on the 300-foot cliff overlooking Lake Muskoka.

And let’s just say… they have some interesting plans.

We’re working with the new owners to design and construct what they’re calling a “manor.”

Towering Gothic architecture, dramatic stonework, steep rooflines, cathedral ceilings, grand staircases, arched windows, secret passageways, a hidden library and a few rooms we’re not entirely sure we want to explore after dark. 👻

Of course, there will be modern comforts too. An infinity pool overlooking the lake, cliffside terraces, a w**e cellar and some spectacular views of Muskoka.

It’s certainly not your typical custom home, but at Legacy North, we believe every property and every vision deserves something truly unique.

Construction is expected to begin as soon as we figure out why the previous owners insisted on selling before Halloween. 🎃

We’re back on Lake Rosseau, where you recently saw the 130-year-old log cabin we’re helping preserve. This time, we’re working on the main cottage.

Years of sun exposure and the Muskoka elements have taken their toll, and this beautiful log home is ready for some much-needed attention.

Working alongside Wood Restorations, we’re carefully bringing the logs and exterior back to life while preserving the character that makes this cottage such a statement on Lake Rosseau.

The goal isn’t to make it look new. It’s to protect its legacy and make sure it continues to stand proudly on the lake for years to come.
