Introducing Daniel Carusone – Human Resources Generalist
We’re pleased to welcome Daniel Carusone to Metro Infrastructure as our new Human Resources Generalist, joining the team on April 20, 2026.
Professional Journey
Daniel has a strong HR foundation, completing an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management at Sheridan College and a Bachelor of Human Resource Management at York University. He began as an HR Coordinator, gaining hands-on experience, and later advanced to HR Manager, where he was the first HR lead in the organization. In that role, he built HR processes and frameworks from the ground up, strengthening his ability to support growing organizations.
Why Metro Infrastructure
Daniel was drawn to Metro Infrastructure for the opportunity to return to a foundational HR role where he can help build processes, support employees, and contribute to a positive workplace culture. He also valued the welcoming and authentic interview experience, which reinforced his excitement to join the team.
Role at Metro Infrastructure
Daniel will support recruitment goals, develop and implement HR policies, and help foster a strong organizational culture. He will also promote health and safety initiatives, support employees with guidance and solutions, ensure compliance with labour laws and collective agreements, and assist with systems such as ADP and safety programs.
Beyond the Office
Outside of work, Daniel enjoys sports and music. He is an NFL fan and loyal Dallas Cowboys supporter, and also plays hockey, tennis, and pickleball. In his downtime, he plays guitar, listens to rock music, and enjoys chess and video games. His favourite shows include The Sopranos, Black Mirror, and The Chosen.
Fun Fact
Daniel enjoys cutting hair and is always ready for a fresh fade. He is also a proud dog owner of two chihuahuas.
