BEHLEN is always finding new ways to invest in the future of Canadian steel manufacturing and recently, we've done this through major facility upgrades in Brandon, Manitoba, Clavet, Saskatchewan and Truro, Nova Scotia.

In Brandon, installation is underway on two significant upgrades: a dual robotic welding system and an automated beam welding line. Both systems are significant improvements from their predecessors and will contribute to Behlen’s increasing production capacity. ⚙️ Our team is excited for these new innovative tools that will help us continue to achieve the exceptional quality our customers have come to expect from Behlen 👷‍♂️

These upgrades represent an investment in our people, our manufacturing capabilities and the future of steel building production in Canada. Here is a look at the progress so far.

Over the past several weeks, our team has been working to install BEHLEN’s new beamline machine. Although the project is not quite complete, it represents an important investment in our Brandon facility and the continued growth of BEHLEN as a Canadian manufacturer.

On Tuesday, we welcomed representatives from Prairies Economic Development Canada to see the progress firsthand and meet some of the team members helping bring the project together. Their support through federal funding is helping BEHLEN invest in advanced manufacturing, strengthen our capabilities and prepare for future growth.

We are proud of the work happening behind the scenes, grateful for the support and are excited to see the project nearing completion.

Yesterday, we were pleased to welcome a group of Manitoba MLAs from the Progressive Conservative Caucus to the BEHLEN Industries manufacturing plant. As Canada's largest manufacturer of steel building systems, BEHLEN Industries is proud to showcase the people, innovation, and manufacturing expertise that drive our business.

A special thank you to our Regional Sales Manager, Clint Swain, for leading the tour, along with our Vice President, Sean Lepper, and Vice President of Engineering, Randy Stutsky, for sharing their knowledge and providing valuable insights into our operations.
