Removed the old and installed a new pressure treated retaining wall with 6”x6”x16’ material. This retaining wall was designed to stabilize the slope and enhance the natural flow of the site.

Our team provided rough carpentry services of this new build 4-storey retirement home by building out the roof parapet curbs with plywood around the perimeter of 4 different sections of the roof.

Parapet walls act as a roof guard rail, conceal rooftop mechanicals, and reduce wind loads on the roof. They must be designed to resist and shed bulk water, prevent air leaks that can deposit moisture into the cavity space, and be constructed to remain durable throughout the service life of the building.

Once the plywood is installed, the roofers can install their flashing membrane to ensure water and air tight connection. 🔨🏗️

Progress pictures taken earlier this year for this new build 3-storey Long Term Care facility that will provide 162 beds located in Orillia, ON.

During construction, we provided vinyl window installation throughout the facility. A brief summary of a step by step process shown below👇🏽

1️⃣ Install the sill metal flashing

2️⃣ Install flashing tape or blueskin for waterproofing

3️⃣ Position and Install the vinyl window

4️⃣ Ensure the window is leveled with shims

5️⃣ Apply internal caulking

6️⃣ Apply spray foam insulation to fill out the gaps, cavities, and joints

We are pleased to provide our construction services on this 196 suite 8-storey hotel project in Mississauga, ON.

Conveniently located minutes away from the Toronto airport and now under construction, we are responsible for providing rough and finish carpentry services such as wood blocking, elevator barricade protection, doors & hardware, shower doors, and washroom accessories install.

Wood blocking provides support that allows finished attachments such as cabinets, vanities, washroom accessories, TV bracket, shelving, etc to hold its place and prevent from attachments to fall overtime.
