In 2001 Dale had 10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration when he decided to accept a job offer overseas. Returning to the Valley in 2008 from a 7 year term in Cayman Islands where he worked as lead mechanic, project manager and purchasing agent for AndroGroup Ltd., Dale had all the experience and technical ability he needed to start Comeau Refrigeration Ltd. ield experience equivalent to working 30 plus years in the Nova Scotia market- it was intense. There was a great opportunity in the valley due to the small number of qualified HVACR shops operating. Within a month of opening in March of 2002, the schedule was filling regularly. Soon it was time for another truck, another mechanic and the rest is history. Comeau Refrigeration Ltd. has completed projects with HVACR budgets from small to large, some approaching a million dollars. The niche market is definitely high end and historic properties that require creative and sensitive design of high end heat pump systems. The only limitations to what the Fujitsu product can do is our imagination.

The 300th Anniversary of the Peace and Friendship Treaty that was ratified by the Mi’kmaw, Wəlastəkokewiyik, and Peskətəmohkatewey, and the British Crown on June 4, 1726 at Fort Anne was celebrated yesterday.
What a fantastic day with drumming, dancing and beautiful ribbon skirts spotted throughout town!
To stand on the ground the treaty was signed on 300 years ago and listen to the stories of our past history here was an incredible experience. I had a photo opportunity with Mr. Melanson and I feel fortunate to have a historic family connection to Annapolis Royal.

CCS covers our customers' Fujitsu heat pumps with a 12-year warranty on parts and labour. Did you know the inverter power module board (IPM) can be damaged by something as little as a fly? The fly landed on this pin (left of the blue arrow) and created an arc, resulting in a communication error and the need for a new PCB.
When this happens, the repair is covered by the warranty. Peace of mind for 12 years is a good thing!

It's curbside collection day, and aren't we fortunate to have this service in our community? While browsing Valley Waste-Resource Management's website we were very excited to learn about their initiative to move to a circular economy!
Instead of buying and tossing materials into a landfill, the waste product (paper/plastic packaging) is revalorized (collected and sent back for manufacturing into another useful product that has value).
Amsterdam has been doing this for years, and the management practice can create a no-waste system. It's a great plan for today's limited resources and reduces environmental strain on ecosystems.
A big thank you to everyone at Valley Waste who works to keep our communities clean and safe!
