In Memoriam: Ken Miller (1946–2025)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Miller, founder and longtime owner of Ken Miller Excavating. Ken passed away peacefully at the age of 78.

Ken established Ken Miller Excavating and spent over five decades building a multi-generational family business and had a reputation for hard work, integrity, and dedication to his craft and community. He was known not only as a skilled businessman, but also as a loyal friend, mentor, and generous neighbor.

Ken’s legacy lives on in the many projects he helped shape, the people he inspired, and the family and community he loved so dearly.

Ken will be deeply missed. ❤️🤍

Congrats to one of our own for being named an Outstanding Contractor by Bourgon Construction. The team at Bourgon continues to be a great partner on our job sites and we thank them for this recognition!

Our second industry partner we wanted acknowledged with a 2022 Trade Award is Braden Miller from Ken Miller Excavating. Based in Brockville, Ken Miller Excavating has worked with us on Prescott Firehall, Augusta Township Firehall, MTO Patrol Garage in Brockville and are currently working on the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre Arena in Prescott. Braden (and the Ken Miller team) are a pleasure to work with; their work is always thorough and precise, and we're confident they are a valuable asset to any construction project.
