We removed the old plastered drywall. Added 1-1/2" studs to exterior 2x4 walls to increase insulation R value. Insulated, vapour barriered, drywalled walls. Shimmed & strapped ceilings. Finished, sanded, primed, painted, changed doors , added new casing & base. We ended up doing this process on the whole house - the existing kitchen.

We stripped, installed low slope membrane & shingled roofs. Installed new flashings and caulking. We also demolished existing upper decks & railings. Framed new decks, installed composite decking. Capped existing structural posts with aluminum. Installed regal railing & glass panels. Homeowners were extremely happy as they could use the previously unsafe balconies & enjoy the beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River.

This bathroom originally started out as 2 separate rooms. Center wall was removed & both doors removed. A large header was installed & these repurposed century old french doors were installed. Ceiling was 2 different heights. We strapped & drywalled to make 1 level. Floors were leveled out as well. Homeowners victorian flare really accentuates this room.
