Job Title: Chainlink Fence Installer (Lead Hand)
Wage: $21–$25/hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fence Installer skilled in chain link, vinyl, and wood fences to join our team as a Lead Hand. The successful candidate will oversee and participate in the full installation process, including site preparation, trenching, post setting, tensioning, and gate installation. The role requires the ability to lead a crew, maintain equipment, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
A valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract are mandatory. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and benefits will be available after the completion of a probationary period.
Responsibilities:
*Lead and manage a small crew or labourer
*Perform complete fence installation (chain link, vinyl, and wood)
*Ensure proper site preparation, post setting, and gate alignment
*Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment
*Oversee project workflow, documentation, and paperwork
*Supply required PPE footwear (steel-toed boots)
Required Qualifications:
*Valid driver’s license (driver’s abstract required)
*Proven experience with fence installation and crew leadership
*Strong work ethic and attention to detail
*Ability to read and interpret project plans
Competitive wage: $21–$25/hour, depending on experience

We’re excited to share that we have 3 cords of beautiful yellow birch firewood coming from Lethbridge! We've already pre-sold 1.5 cords, and the wood will arrive on Tuesday. If you're interested in some yellow birch firewood, it’s available for $300 per bag. There’s a $10 deposit for each bag, which you’ll get back when the bag is returned in good condition. Each bag is about a quarter of a cord, and pickup is available at our yard. If you need it delivered, that can be arranged for an extra fee!
