In your experience, how high have you seen mulch cover the outdoor coil of a unit? It's a shame, people don't understand that they're blocking off the heat transfer of a unit and adding acidic material that could corrode the refrigerant tubing, resulting in a refrigerant leak!

The Creature Comfort’s Story

Our family immigrated to Canada in 1990 from the UK. Our dad was in the engineering and manufacturing industry and told us growing up ‘to get into the service sector where there would always be a demand and work’. Fast forward a few decades and my brother Grant and I were both working at a company for years in the heating & cooling industry with intentions to purchase and take it over. However, we realized towards the end of our time there that the company had really lost its focus, and forgot that the customers are the most important aspect of what we do in our industry. We decided to build our own company from scratch. Our only focus was to create the best customer experience. With this attitude, and a high level skill set for our trade, we were able to quickly gain traction and began to gain new clients daily. The majority of our work was and still is referral based. We have put a lot of effort into focusing on our community being there if and when they will need us.
