This landing had a set of stairs off the side, down into the living room.

Why?

I don’t know who designed this, I don’t know who built it – but that was one detail that had to go.

The homeowner had a great idea to incorporate some kind of full height slat wall into this space – something that created separation but maintained site lines between the entryway and living room.

We landed on these white oak slats, stained to match the floor.

Small detail, huge impact.

When we walked into this Burlington home, the layout was all wrong.

The fridge was all the way across the room, and cooking was a massive headache. We moved it over beside the island, so the homeowners can use their kitchen efficiently without having to give it a second thought.

This small change is going to completely change the way these clients live every day.

We ran into some issues when it came to what was planned/designed and what was required with the specifications from the manufacturer on this fireplace build.

It was one of those things where we had to be on site to see how it was all going to come together.

Reason 376 why it’s so important to have a hands-on general contractor in your corner.
