Clean, precise, and built to last.

Today’s project was a full staircase capping paired with a custom railing system — crafted using solid red oak posts (3 1/2” wide) metal rings , and complemented by sleek plain metal pickets for a modern, timeless look.

Every stair cap was carefully measured and cut to match the exact pitch and angle of the staircase. This isn’t just straight cuts — each tread and nosing requires precision to follow the rise and run perfectly, ensuring tight joints, smooth transitions, and a seamless flow from step to step.

The railing layout demanded detailed planning as well — from post placement to aligning every picket evenly while maintaining code spacing and visual balance. The combination of hardwood and metal brings both strength and style, but it takes experience to get everything perfectly aligned and solid.
