We’re pleased to announce that FlexScan3D, one of our earliest 3D scanning software solutions, is now FREE for all non-commercial applications. 🎉💸

Originally developed over 15 years ago, FlexScan3D has been a well-known and powerful tool in the 3D scanning industry. As we evolve and focus on new software applications, FlexScan3D will no longer receive updates or be bundled with future scanner orders. However, we will continue to provide technical support to existing users.

FlexScan3D core features:

◾ Create a 3D scanner using supported MV cameras and an HDMI projector.
◾ Capture 3D scans.
◾ Clean up scan data using advanced post-processing capabilities.
◾ Merge 3D scans into a full digital 3D model.

Introducing The Compact S5 Macro - Scan Objects 1 To 5 Centimeters In Size At 5 Micron Accuracy

We’re happy to introduce the new Compact S5 Macro as a replacement for our small field of view 3D Scanner, the Compact C504 that was discontinued last year. It gives you the same accuracy of 5 microns with a much larger FOV. In fact it's the same FOV as the C506, making this new scanner a drop-in replacement for both the C504 and C506.

The new scanner is less expensive than the scanners it’s replacing while adding many exciting new features.

The Compact S5 Macro adds the following:

ColorScan Technology: You can now scan in high accuracy color. The C50x series were monochrome only
Instant Scan: Scan 5 times faster than before. Capture 5 million+ points in 0.86 seconds.
Simpler Connectivity: With locking USB Connectors and external triggers, it’s much easier than ever to connect and get scanning.

The Compact S5 Macro also keeps features that our existing customers depended on.

Flexible Integration: Take full scanner control using Polyga’s latest SBSDK C/C++ SDK. It’s the same interface as before, so there’s no transition time
