Throughout these cold months, we have been proudly collaborating with SEK Construction LTD on one of our largest projects: providing ongoing snow plow and salting services across the Lower Mainland. Together, we have been servicing over 130 locations, including essential sites like Tsawwassen Ferry, Costcos, ambulance stations, and general hospitals.

Our operations continue across North Vancouver, Downtown Vancouver, South Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Delta, Surrey, Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Langley, Abbotsford, and Mission. With a dedicated team working overnight shifts, and even 24-hour operations on critical days, we ensure roads and facilities remain safe and accessible throughout the winter season.

This massive effort has been made possible with a fleet of over 45 vehicles, including F-350 and F-550 trucks equipped with automatic salters and snow plows, ATVs, skid steers, brine trucks, and dump trucks, as well as hardworking crews shoveling manually. From field operators to office staff, more than 140 families are benefiting from this project, something that both CASTBRO and SEK take immense pride in.

Most importantly, we are proud to report that there have been zero injuries so far. At CASTBRO, safety is always our top priority, ensuring that every team member goes home safely at the end of the day.

As we continue working until the last frosts of March, we are looking forward to securing a multi-year contract to maintain these operations in the coming winters, allowing us to expand our workforce and provide even more families with stable employment.
