Beautiful transformation of this bathroom we completed in Acton Ontario.
This bathroom appeared to be in ok shape when we arrived, but as we started to peel apart the layers of this bathroom we quickly realized there were much bigger issues going on behind the scene.
The floor was sinking due to cracked joists, and a previous sagging beam which had since been fixed. Accompanied by complete water damage and rot from a cracked toilet fl**ge. It seems everything that could have been leaking on this project did just that.
Next biggest issue was the plumbing, everything behind the walls was just disastrous, nothing was done correctly and everything needed to be ripped out and redone.
We sistered up all the joists through the bathroom even the ones that didn't really need it, we did anyways because with the floor open now is the best time. After we corrected the floor system we then leveled the floor out and re sheeted with some 3/4" osb t&g.
Once the floor and plumbing were corrected it was smooth sailing from there, we had Joe from come out and install a new pvc awning style frosted window, Lali from come out and complete our tile work for us and complete our rough ins and finishes.
We are incredibly happy how this turned out, and most importantly the homeowners are happy. To us there is nothing more important than the job being done correctly by the right group of professionals and the homeowners being more than satisfied with the result.
The kitchen is just about completed on this project as well, just waiting on tile for the backsplash and then it'll be a wrap!
