Whether it’s a clean bead, a challenging fit-up, or a finished piece we’re proud of, we’re excited to showcase the people and craftsmanship behind it all.

Kicking off our first Welding Wednesdays, is some recent vessel connection work for a customer project.

These studded outlet fl**ge connections and fl**ge connections feature a 2” thick repad , something that isn’t very common in vessel fabrication and not something Bidell does often. Projects like this bring unique challenges and highlight the precision, fit-up, and weld quality our team brings to every job.

Retirement is not the end of the road, it’s the beginning of a new adventure!

With both gratitude and a little sadness, we announce Sandra Kivlehan’s retirement as she heads into an exciting new chapter.

After more than 30 years in the oil and gas industry, Sandra celebrates her final days at Bidell Gas Compression Ltd surrounded by the team she’s been such an important part of. Throughout her time here, she’s been known for her dedication, reliability, and genuine kindness. Whether it was getting the job done right or being there for others, Sandra could always be counted on, as both a valued colleague and a trusted friend.

From her love of leopard print to her lighthearted office pranks, Sandra brought joy, laughter, and warmth to our workplace every single day. It’s no surprise that she says it’s the people here who made this chapter so special, and so hard to say goodbye to.

As her teammate Isabel shared, the team wishes Sandra a retirement filled with the same ease, warmth, and positivity she brought into every day at work. They reflect on how she always kept things running seamlessly, approaching every challenge with calm confidence and a smile that lifted those around her. With genuine appreciation and a touch of sadness at saying goodbye, they hope she enjoys every moment of this well-earned next chapter, one that’s as bright and fulfilling as the impact she’s left behind. Her impact will be felt for years to come, and as her boss said, she leaves behind some very big shoes to fill.

While we’ll miss her dearly, we’re so excited for Sandra as she trades in screen time for lake life in Ontario, filled with peaceful views, fishing, and mornings without alarm clocks.

Our retrofit crew is getting it done in West Central Alberta, long hours, steady progress, and the kind of hard work that only shows its value when you step back and look at what’s being built.

Reassemblies are moving forward safely and consistently, with everyone putting in the effort needed to keep things on track. And overhead, a striking sky stretches across the horizon, beautiful and completely unrelated to the work itself, but a reminder of the bigger backdrop we’re working under.

Putting spreadsheets aside for strikes, Bidell Gas Compression rolled into the bowling alley yesterday for an afternoon of laughs and friendly competition.

There were a few very unexpected all-stars , a team that came fully coordinated in matching t-shirts, and plenty of laughs all around. Safe to say, some hidden talents were uncovered, and a little friendly competition kept things interesting.

Great people, great vibes, and a perfect way to spend an afternoon before the snow hit.

Winning a championship is always something special, but even more so when it’s one of your own.

A big congratulations to the Dawson Creek Canucks on winning the Coy Cup and capping off an incredible season.

We’re proud to share that our own Liam Craig, a field mechanic out of our Fort St. John branch, was part of this championship run.

We always appreciate hearing about our employees being part of something bigger outside of work, whether in their communities, on the ice, or through personal passions. These moments reflect the same dedication, teamwork, and commitment they bring to their roles every day.
