Alberta BioBord draft Pellet Plant elevation views are starting to take shape.

Silos, Hydrogen Gasification Plant, Renewable Fuels GTL Plant, future Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Powerplant drawings all being worked on.

We're busy working on production throughput scenarios, ensuring that each stage from straw input thru to optimized power generation are all closely matched and sized on a maintainable production level. Once properly matched, each equipment configuration is laid out, future potential expansion considered and then the building footprints can be designed.

From the public's perspective, these elevation views are what they'll see, with grassy berms & an abundance of trees & flower gardens surrounding the group of production facilities. In addition, there will be a truck maintenance shop with a parking lot for 8-12 Hydrogen fueled trucks with Super-B trailers onsite. I also envision doing something special with our water retention pond, perhaps even aerating it so that we can have astocked fishing pond picnic area.

Hydrogen is definitely the renewable fuel of the future for any vehicle larger than a car. Firms like Cummins, AGCO, Versatile, JCB & GM are lining up their offerings as production and distribution of low carbon intensity Hydrogen makes rapid advancements.

The reason that Hydrogen is being so aggressively pursued is simple. It is easily incorporated into our vehicles, large trucks, trains, ships and heavy equipment while allowing us to operate those vehicles and equipment exactly the same as we currently do. EV's have tried but they can't deliver the same power density, reliability, range and time to refuel that hydrogen can.

This recent announcement from GM & the DOE explains how GM is moving forward with H2 development based upon many years of protype development. Watch thru this coming year as every vehicle & equipment manufacturer put the brakes on EV expansions while announcing their own Hydrogen development efforts. Alberta can & will play a major role in that exciting fuel option. What's on your mind George?

That FB post prompt encourages us to speak our mind, advice that I obviously always follow!

Today I am thinking about findind straw storage depot locations and wondering if the dozen or so farmers and/or counties will be happy for the extra income we could bring them.

I'm also thinking about employment, will it be a challenge to find 8 real good truckers, 4 great equipment operators, 32 excellent plant operators willing to work rotating shifts and a dozen or so administration/sales people? Just for Phase 1 of our proposed project, total employment & producer income just keeps rising as we bring additional phases on. Plus can we assemble a good construction team to keep costs on schedule & budget?

Yes, now that the AUC Moratorium is over it's time to start planning the next steps of our Renewable Energy project. There's been a few modifications to our proposed project, we used the seven month pause to really delve into how to make our project more economical, more robust and far more integral to the needs of Albertans as we face the challenges of a world that needs our Energy but is afraid of the impacts that our plentiful resources might bring.

Alberta BioBord's office building in Stettler was part & parcel of a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) by parties from Surrey BC & Calgary.

After costing us over $75K in building improvements throughout 2021 and early 2022, they breached their SPA and failed to transfer title per their contract. They have falsely claimed that we were a tenant when in fact we have the signed contracts with them showing that the building was supposed to be ours in exchange for final payment for one half of their Share Purchase Agreement contract. They breached their contract by failing to make scheduled share purchases and failing to transfer title as they had contracted to do.

We are dealing with their claims with the appropriate legal response to their breach. And despite the mess created by their unfulfilled commitments, we are proceeding with our proposed projects in Stettler County. Although it obviously would have been nice to have that property as part of our operations, it wasn't critical to our project as we can build administrative offices onsite.

We will release more details after our April 12th AGM where we will be introducing both our new project schedules and our replacement investors. And subject to shareholder approval, we will begin our next public consultations that are necessary ahead of the re-filing of our Development Permit application.

After a year long hiatus in 2022 due to primarily needing to demonstrate to AB Environmental staff that NOTHING within our proposed Fuel Pellet, Thermal Powerplant nor MDF Board plant would create any negative environmental impacts, Alberta BioBord is now taking steps to re-file an updated Development Permit application with the County of Stettler.

We will be filing two Development permit applications this year, the 1st for the pellet plant plus two small ancillary pilot plants in 5-6 weeks. The 2nd application will be filed in about 5-6 months for a BioEnergy Carbon Capture Storage (BECCS) Powerplant. This will become Alberta's first renewable NET NEGATIVE Powerplant, allowing us an opportunity to collaborate with a number of major projects that need to bring their Carbon footprints down.

Stettler & area is finally positioned to see much needed economic development help them become a reinvigorated industrial hub. BioBord welcomes the news of a major solar facility also coming to the County. Collectively, the electricity available in the area will ultimately spur additional projects looking to be powered by the greenest power available within Alberta.
