1 week in the new home and I am slowly getting things together.

Today I start setting up the sewing space! Unpacking all my yarns and fabrics so I can get back to what I love...

I say slow because after a month of packing for the move my back is absolutely screaming. That old car accident injury just won't let me forget. So we are, I am doing the best I can with what capacity I have.

Moving Day!
Our whole life all packed up and ready to go.
The countdown is on... 1 more hour.

I will miss the storage, but not the stairs.
I will miss my beautiful sewing room the most!
But I won't miss the yard.

Cables and Lace product is all stocked up and so you can still pick up that baby gift or hand knit blanket!

I will continue to be quieter here while we set up our new home.

I can hardly believe that 4 years have gone by already and we get to love you!❤️

The most silly, mischievous, playfully, joyful spirit I have ever seen in a dog. She is a delight. Full of love and exuberance for life. She can jump into your arms if you let her or simply jump to kiss your nose. She eats ANYTHING, this is both good and bad. She plays hard and sleeps hard.

She loves her people fiercely, especially Dad. But her brother, Fergus, is her most favourite companion of all.

Here's to many more years with you FrancyPants, Frannie, our beloved Doodledog pain-in-the-arse.

We love you so much!

This (not always helpful) tool betrayed me today.
My planned productive day was halted by a nice, deep slice into one of my fingers. While I am grateful it wasn't my right hand, my left index finger is cursing my momentary distraction that caused the injury.

Sewing will be unexpectedly delayed at least until tomorrow.

Our boy suffered a most undignified ailment.

An abscessed a**l gland.
Required complete lavage clean out and surgical removal of necrotic tissue. So glad we caught it when we did.
Poor boy is still a bit groggy but on the mend.

Pricey dog this one. Good thing he is so sweet.
