When it comes to quality-price ratio, my top 3 recommendation are:

1.Hardie planks
2.Stucco
3.Vinyl siding

Hardie board is a unique blend of concrete and other composite materials that make it impervious to elements like rain, hail, high winds, and humidity. It’s perfect for the Calgary climate. Stucco is the nicest out of the 3 and keeps heat the best because of the insulation required to complete the installation, but the most expensive. Vinyl siding is the most affordable, however, can be damaged by extreme weather such as hail.
