Please join us in welcoming our 2026 summer students to the team — including a few returning faces! This week, our student cohort in Calgary got together for what is quickly becoming a South Bow tradition: a coffee chat with our CEO, Bevin Wirzba. We're also pleased to welcome one new summer student to our office in Houston, who is working closely with one of our Trading Analysts. Bevin shared candid lessons from his own career journey, noting:

"Be curious about the roles around you. Understand how your work connects to the broader business—that perspective will shape your career."

Our 2026 cohort is already taking that advice to heart. Here is a look at what a few of our students are tackling this summer:
- "I've really enjoyed getting hands-on with automation and document workflows using AI... I'm excited to keep building tools that make processes easier for the team," Neel, based in the Calgary office.
- "I'm excited to learn how traders evaluate market conditions, manage risk and respond to changes in pricing, flows and fundamentals," Lucas, based in the Houston office.
- "As a future nursing student stepping into my first corporate role... I have really enjoyed working with the Workplace Health & Safety Team and learning what that looks like here at South Bow," Jenessa, based in the Calgary office.

Conversations like these matter. Creating space for open, human-centred dialogue helps strengthen our industry and supports the next generation of leaders as they navigate complexity, uncertainty and change.

Please join us in congratulating Dwight, a Swift Current-based Projects Specialist, on his well-deserved retirement! 🎉

After an incredible 32-year career on the pipeline, Dwight is looking forward to spending his first official day off exactly where he wants to be: on the golf course.

Over the last three decades, Dwight has mentored countless new team members. his go-to advice for the next generation? "You are not expected to know everything but are expected to be engaged and ask questions. Everyone learns something new every day."

Thank you for 32 years of hard work, leadership and dedication to our team, Dwight!

We are incredibly proud of our team members in Calgary and Houston who gave their time to support local conservation! 🌱

Our Calgary team recently spent the day with the Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation helping with park stewardship. We love sponsoring their educational programs so visitors can learn about local ecosystems and experience the impact of conservation firsthand.

Meanwhile, our Houston team was busy restoring coastal prairie habitats with the Coastal Prairie Conservancy. By supporting their community engagement programs, we're helping to protect native plants and local wildlife in the greater Houston area.

Thank you to both organizations for hosting us and for the important work you do every day.

Meet Glenn! ✈️ When he isn't flying aerobatic airplanes or riding dirt bikes, he's navigating a very different kind of control panel at South Bow.

As a Control Center Shift Lead in Calgary, Glenn and his team are the "eyes" on our pipeline system. They use advanced monitoring technology to track our infrastructure in real-time, working together to ensure energy products are transported safely and reliably every single day.

"Each operator is responsible for managing their system assets together as a team to achieve our shared goals," Glenn says. "Good communication and teamwork are essential in making that happen."

Watch Glenn in action at the Control Center and up in the clouds! 👇

What's the best way to learn about the hidden infrastructure beneath your property? By putting the pieces together as a family 🧩.

To wrap up Safe Digging Month, we want to give a massive shoutout to South Bow team member Jason. He brought an incredible idea to life: a 99-piece Safe Digging Puzzle designed to help our landowners and neighbours understand the importance of locating underground utilities before they dig.

Because of his vision and dedication to finding creative solutions, South Bow is proud to have been recognized with two 2026 Gold Quill Awards in Safety Communication and Creative Design from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Thank you, Jason, for your outside-the-box thinking, and thank you to our communities for your commitment to safe digging!

Growing up, Cushing-based Technologist Lance saw firsthand the impact an F5 tornado can bring to a community. So, when a tornado warning was issued while he was working at a remote pump station, he knew the standard electrical building wasn't a safe enough place to take cover.

Recognizing the risk, Lance spoke up and his idea quickly turned into action. Today, we've installed purpose-built precast concrete shelters across our Oklahoma operations. These shelters provide our teams and contractors with an immediate, secure place to wait out severe weather, placed safely away from pipelines and utilties.

Thank you, Lance, for looking out for your team!

South Bow was honoured to be invited to, and participate in, a historic event hosted by Willow Lake Métis Nation near Fort McMurray, marking the return of 20 bison to their traditional lands. The reintroduction of bison is a powerful milestone rooted in the voices of citizens and generations of cultural knowledge, symbolizing the restoration of traditional food systems, a renewed connection to the land and a vision for food sovereignty.

South Bow's Indigenous & Community Relations Specialist, Jill, attended to witness and support this important moment, which reflects Willow Lake Métis Nation’s leadership in land stewardship, cultural revitalization and community-led development.

Damage prevention is a shared responsibility, and it starts right at the community level.

This April for Safe Digging Month, South Bow is proud to partner with the Saskatchewan Common Ground Alliance to support their 2026 Dig Safe Awareness Breakfast series. From Estevan to Lloydminster, and 17 communities in between, it is inspiring to see local farmers, first responders and industry come together over a hot breakfast to collaborate on safe digging practices.

Did you know our Houston Tank Terminal plays a massive role in keeping North America's energy moving?

This impressive facility in Texas can hold 1.4 million barrels of oil. It acts as a major hub, taking energy from our pipeline systems and connecting it directly to a 36-inch pipeline that unlocks access to North America's largest refining markets and connections to U.S. Gulf Coast marine export terminals.

It takes a combination of highly strategic infrastructure and a dedicated team to ensure our operations run smoothly around the clock.
