We had a fantastic time sponsoring the Alberta Aviation, Aerospace & Defence Summit in Edmonton this week!

Huge thanks to every volunteer who made the event such a success — your hard work showed. The floor was buzzing with energy, and it’s clear Alberta’s aerospace and defence sector is hitting an exciting new stride.

We’re especially thrilled about the recent $1 million in funding for AAAD from the Ministry of Jobs, Economy, Trade and Immigration and Alberta Innovates, along with ongoing support from PrairiesCan. This investment is allowing the organization to bring on full-time paid staff, including new Executive Director Kathryn Ambler, and drive the new LIFT initiative forward. Thank you for investing in Alberta’s future in this space.

A very special thank you to Kendra Kincade, who chaired the AAAD and is now stepping down. Kendra, thank you for your outstanding leadership — you’ve helped build real momentum.

Fidelity was thrilled to attend the inaugural DEFSEC West conference last month in Calgary!

The event had an outstanding turnout, with representation from companies and government stakeholders across the aerospace and defense sector. We had the opportunity to build relationships and share ideas with so many experts in this ever-growing industry, and feel truly inspired to see the amount of momentum building in Alberta and across Canada.

We've been cheering on the Luge Canada team from afar as they compete at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games!

A huge congratulations to the entire team on their outstanding performances:

- Embyr-Lee Susko and Trinity Ellis (15th and 17th place in the Women's Singles event)

- Beattie Podulsky and Kailey Allan (10th place in the Women's Doubles event)

- Devin Wardrope and Cole Zajanski (10th place in the Men's Doubles event)
