We are currently seeking a dynamic Office Manager to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence.
Position Overview:
As the Office Manager for our construction staffing agency, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with our team to support the morning dispatch, recruitment efforts, manage office functions, and provide exceptional service to both clients and candidates. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing office supplies, and maintaining a productive work environment.
• Coordinate with recruiters and clients to ensure effective communication and smooth operation of temporary placements.
• Handle scheduling, Invoicing and basic accounting tasks related to client and employee transactions.
• Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and workflow.
• Assist with onboarding new employees and provide ongoing support to ensure their success in temporary assignments.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns from clients or temporary workers in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain and update client and employee databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or similar role, ideally within the staffing or construction industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field is an asset.
