Running a business isn’t always confidence—some days it’s doubt, second‑guessing, and a lot of pressure.
But the wins? The good weeks? That simple thank you from a client?
That’s what reminds you why you started.
I see a lot of posts about how perfect projects went or how someone is “the best.”The reality? We all have bad days, bad jobs, and tough clients.
We’re only human. Not everything is in our control.
That’s why having a strong team around you matters—they’re the ones doing the heavy lifting when it counts.
We’ve got this.

From panelized and wire‑faced systems to geogrid‑reinforced structures, our crews deliver survey, installation, quality control, and site integration — built for Canadian ground conditions and long‑term performance.

9 years. Major projects. Millions of square metres protected below the slab.
For nearly a decade, Canadian Erosion & Containment (CEC) has been trusted to install radon barrier and radon mitigation systems on some of Western Canada’s largest and most complex buildings.
Notable completed projects include:
• Amazon Fulfilment Centres – Edmonton (multiple)• Amazon Warehouse – Calgary• Uline Distribution Centre – Edmonton• Home Depot Distribution Centre – Edmonton / Acheson• APEX 1 & APEX 2 Warehouses – Edmonton• Aurora Sky Warehouse – Medicine Hat• Aurora Borealis Warehouse – Edmonton• Whirlwind Industrial Facility – Edmonton• 50 Street Warehouse – Edmonton• Calgary Cancer Centre• BMO Centre Expansion – Calgary• Scotia Place (Calgary Arena & Entertainment District)• South Lethbridge Elementary School• Clifton House – Alberta
Across these projects, CEC delivered: -Sub‑slab radon barriers-Passive radon mitigation rough‑in systems-Pipe penetrations, manifolds, and risers. -Full wall terminations and slab coordination- Installations reviewed and approved by engineers and third parties
Radon protection is installed before the slab is poured — and once the building is complete, you’ll never see it.But it’s one of the most critical systems in the structure.
Installed once. Done right. Built to last.

As we roll into our 9th construction season, it’s good to look back at the projects we’ve completed—and the lessons we’ve learned along the way. Proud of what we started, and even prouder of what we’re becoming.

Project Update: Glenmore & Crowchild Sound Walls
Glenmore is fully installed and waiting on warm weather for paint and landscaping.
Crowchild piles are in and ready, with panels moving next—paint and landscaping to follow when temperatures improve.
Great work by the crew out there every day. Give them a wave as you go by!
