Walk your exterior. Look for the five things in the graphic. None of them need a professional eye to spot, you're just looking for anything that seems off.
Here's why it matters: every one of these gets worse once temperatures start dropping and swinging. A hairline crack in August is a much smaller job than the same crack after a Calgary winter has had a chance to work on it.

Here's what actually happens when you call AB Stucco, because a lot of people put off reaching out just because they don't know what to expect.

Step 1: You call or message. We ask what you're seeing, cracks, staining, hail marks, whatever's got your attention.

Step 2: We come out. Free. Argetim walks the full area, not just the spot you mentioned, because damage doesn't always stay where you think it does.

Step 3: You get a straight quote on the spot or within a day, not a vague range, an actual number for the actual job.

Step 4: We schedule it. Most repairs are done in days, not weeks.

Step 5: 5-year warranty, and we're still the people you call if anything comes up.

We showed up for a parging crack. Found this instead.
The call: "homeowner in Cranston noticed one crack near the front step and figured it was a quick patch job".
What we actually found: "the crack was the visible tip of moisture damage that had been spreading behind the parging for at least a season, the section around the corner was already compromised".
This is why we always walk the full perimeter, not just the spot someone points to. Damage rarely stays contained to where you can see it.
What we did: [e.g. "opened up the full affected section, stripped back to solid substrate, repaired and sealed the whole run, not just the original crack"].

If we'd only patched what was reported, this comes back worse next year. 5-year warranty on the full repair.

It's hail season in Calgary. Here's what to check on your exterior this week, takes five minutes and could save you a much bigger repair down the road.
Small hail cracks in stucco don't always look urgent. They are. Every impact point is a spot where moisture can get behind the wall before winter and Calgary's freeze-thaw does the rest.
