Shout out to Carter Mytz, Daniel Kenny and Clayton Wagner, who have all completed their entire electrical apprenticeship with Stratus — starting out in our shop and working their way through every level of the apprenticeship program.

We’ve always said we’re building the company we’ve always wanted to work for. A big part of that is creating opportunities for our people to learn, take on new challenges and build long-term careers.

Seeing Carter, Daniel and Clayton grow from their early days in the shop into skilled tradespeople is something we’re proud of.

There is no Stratus without US — and sometimes, “US” means trading the jobsite for the BBQ.

Recently, members of the Stratus team had the opportunity to volunteer at Camp Kindle, supporting Kids Cancer Care and the incredible kids and families they serve.

Our volunteers fired up the BBQ to serve lunch and, of course, finished things off with ice cream sundaes for dessert! It was a day filled with plenty of smiles and a chance to see firsthand the difference Camp Kindle makes for campers and their families.

This one was especially close to home for Stratus. Angie (Dave Smith’s daughter), a member of the Stratus family, was one of the amazing campers our team had the privilege of serving. Her bright spirit, positive outlook, and the incredible support surrounding her were a meaningful reminder of just how much programs like Camp Kindle can mean to kids and their families.

A big thank you to Camp Kindle and Kids Cancer Care for having us and for the incredible work you do. We were proud to lend a hand and help make the day a little more special for the campers!

In Athabasca, Alberta, the Stratus team delivered the full Electrical & Instrumentation scope in support of improved turbine performance and overall plant energy efficiency.

In these photos, Michael Cha is terminating an I/O cabinet — essentially the “brain” of the pipe rack. These systems communicate critical operational information, helping equipment know when to turn on, shut off, or change status to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

LOTO procedures are a critical part of keeping teams safe by ensuring equipment is properly isolated and cannot be unexpectedly energized during maintenance or testing. Conversations like these reinforce the importance of following the right processes and looking out for one another on site.
