⛏️ MAJOR is heading to steinexpo 2026!

From 2 to 5 September, the quarry in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden will once again turn into one of the biggest meeting points for the raw materials and building materials industry.
What makes steinexpo special? You don't just see machines and solutions on display. You see them in action, in a real quarry environment.

With more than 185,000 m² of exhibition space, live demonstrations and professionals from Germany and beyond, there will be plenty to discover, discuss and experience.

⛏️ MAJOR auf der steinexpo 2026!

Vom 2. bis 5. September wird der Steinbruch in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden wieder zum Treffpunkt für die Rohstoff- und Baustoffindustrie.

Was die steinexpo so besonders macht? Hier werden Maschinen und Lösungen nicht einfach nur ausgestellt. Sie werden unter realen Bedingungen im Steinbruch live erlebt.
Auf mehr als 185.000 m² Ausstellungsfläche, mit Live-Demonstrationen und Fachbesuchern aus Deutschland und darüber hinaus, gibt es jede Menge zu entdecken, auszuprobieren und zu besprechen.

Auch unser Team ist vor Ort. Mike, Cedric, Matej, Peter und Robert freuen sich darauf, Kunden, Partner und Branchenkollegen persönlich zu treffen und sich über aktuelle Herausforderungen und Lösungen auszutauschen.

🇸🇮 A screening upgrade in Slovenia

At Kostak Krško, a gravel processing plant working with highly abrasive material from the Sava River, the goal was simple: get more out of the existing screening process.
Together with our dealer Skalar, we replaced the existing screen media on both decks with FLEX-MAT DFM.

🔹 Top deck: DFM 8 mm
🔹 Bottom deck: DFM 4.5 mm

The results?
The top deck saw a clear increase in throughput and overall plant capacity. Pe***ng was eliminated, recirculation to the crusher was reduced, and more bulk material could be processed.

On the bottom deck, the increased open area and more rigid wires resulted in higher throughput and a more consistent opening.

No new screening plant. Just a better-performing screening solution.
A great example of how the right screen media can help unlock more potential from an existing setup.

The best media in the world can’t compensate for a rushed install.

This guide calls out common causes of premature failure—improper tensioning, installing the panel the wrong way around, or not ensuring each support bar contacts the media. A few minutes here can prevent hours of downtime later.
