Check out this great event coming to Carnduff!

The Western Canadian Baseball League is delighted to announce General Well Servicing Ltd. as the title sponsor of the 2026 Rural Roots Baseball Classic in Carnduff, Saskatchewan.

WCBL Director of Corporate Sponsorships Noah Rolheiser is excited about the partnership with the Carnduff-based company.

“It is great to join forces with a sponsor that is a big part of the community of Carnduff, which will play host to our second annual Rural Roots Baseball Classic,” said Rolheiser.

“The history of General Well Servicing dates back to the 1980s and the company offers a fleet of free-standing service rigs that are operated by experienced personnel. They are owned and operated by the Day family, which has been a part of the Carnduff community for decades.”

The Rural Roots Baseball Classic is set to take place just over a month from now, on Friday, May 29th at Carnduff Ball Park. It will feature a WCBL regular-season game between Saskatoon Berries Baseball and the Weyburn Beavers - WCBL.

We are thrilled to be the sponsor for the Rural Roots Baseball Classic that is coming to Carnduff!

The Western Canadian Baseball League is recognizing its baseball roots in Carnduff, Saskatchewan to kick off the 2026 season.

Carnduff is a small, agricultural town in southeast Saskatchewan and has been selected to host the second annual Rural Roots Baseball Classic, presented by General Well Servicing Ltd., on Friday, May 29th at Carnduff Ball Park

Highlighting the event will be a regular-season game between Saskatoon Berries Baseball and the Weyburn Beavers - WCBL, with first pitch scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in the town of 1,150 people.
