It’s that time of year again! 🥫

We’re kicking off our 3rd Annual DJC Food Drive throughout the month of November.

The need for food support exists in our communities year-round, but the holiday season can bring added challenges for many Island families. We’d love to do our part to help make sure more Islanders have a little extra support around the table.

We’re collecting non-perishable food items at our office, and every donation, big or small, makes a difference.

Thank you for continuing to show up for our Island community. Let’s fill those donation boxes! 🎄

It takes more than one crew to keep things moving, and we’re lucky to have good people in our corner. 👊

With footings underway on our commercial project in Stratford, a big thanks to Fortified Homes & Exteriors PEI for stepping in to handle the concrete work while our teams focus on other projects. We appreciate the support and the kind of working relationships that make this industry what it is. 🙌🛠️

That final stretch when everything starts coming together. All the hard work, all the details, and finally seeing it all take shape. 🔨👌

There’s been a lot happening behind the scenes at DJC lately. 👀 Our teams have been working across 3–4 sites a day, with everyone pitching in to keep projects moving. Here’s a look at an addition we’ve been working on, and just one piece of what our crews have been up to lately.

Appreciate the people who continue to put their trust in our team. 🤝

Tools go down at noon today. 🛠️🕛 This team gave us their whole summer. The least we can do is give them an afternoon.

We're trading the job site for the golf course today. Most of us swing a hammer better than a driver, so if you live near the course, maybe park the truck in the garage. ⛳️

Our office will be closed from noon on. We'll be back Monday morning. 🙌

A little more room to make home feel even more like home. 🏡

We’re adding a new addition to this client’s home, creating more space for whatever the next chapter looks like. Stay tuned as this one takes shape! 🔨

A little look back at a project we completed in 2025! 🏡

A big thank you to our clients for welcoming us back into their space and allowing us to share a closer look at this build. We always appreciate the opportunity to revisit a finished project and show a little more of the work that goes into bringing it all together.

Built Right. Done the Island Way. 🤝

What a way to end a week!!! Shawn from Plus Insulation spends his days making sure the houses we build stay warm, and every fall he shows up at our door with a stack of brand new winter jackets to make sure Islanders stay warm too. 🙌

Thank you, Shawn. From the whole DJC crew, we’re proud to call you a partner on the job site and a friend to this community. 🧥

Our third annual coat drive is still going, and gently used coats and snow pants can be dropped off at Unit 3, 9 Walker Drive. If there’s a jacket in your closet you haven’t touched since last winter, somebody out there could use it more than your hangers can. Can’t donate? Share this post, it helps more than you’d think. 🙏

You meet a lot of people doing this kind of work. Every once in a while you meet people who remind you it was never really about the buildings.

Tunde and Bola are those people. 🙏

Good people through and through, and you could tell how much this clinic meant to them. Thank you for trusting our crew with it. We're honoured we got to be part of it, and even more glad we got to know you both. 🤝

Here's to the clinic helping a whole lot of Islanders for a long time, and to all your hard work paying off. Congrats on the grand opening. PEI is lucky to have you. 🔑👏
