That's exactly what Technical Solutions Specialist Dexter Wheeler noticed at a recent mine, where the liner needed replacing every four to six weeks. He recommended a different approach: a 𝐚 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫, betting that rubber would outperform poly in this application.

𝗔 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

Tuesday, Soluroc Cobourg marked a major milestone. In just 10 months, from breaking ground in October 2025 to yesterday's ribbon-cutting ceremony, our facility grew from 12,000 to over 28,000 square feet.

This is a major investment in our growth. Not just in floor space, but above all in people: much of this expansion is about giving our talented, passionate team the best possible working conditions.

That's why it was only fitting to have Kevin MacDonald, our longest-serving team member with 31 years of seniority, cut the ribbon.

The Mayor, town planning committee members, media, representatives from the Northumberland Manufacturers' Association, and many other guests joined President & CEO Christian Gagnon, VP of Projects and Innovation Éric Ch*****ne, VP of Sales and Marketing Bill Lee, Cobourg General Manager Sara Parsons, and Production Manager Doug Davis to mark this new chapter.

Soluroc is taking on new markets. Investing heavily in our people and our facilities to build not just the production capacity, but the sales and service strength to back it, across the Americas and beyond.
