🏆 A proud night for Tatham!

Last night at the Ontario Engineering Project Awards, we were honoured to bring home two awards recognizing both the impact of our work and our commitment to the communities we serve.

🌱 Municipal Impact Award
Demonstrating the power of regional collaboration, our Muskoka Area Municipalities Decarbonization project brought six northern municipalities together to create a shared roadmap toward climate action. As a result, all six municipalities committed to cutting corporate greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by 2030 and achieving net‑zero by 2050.

💙 Humanitarian Award
This award reflects our long‑standing commitment to giving back, inspired by our founder, Charlie Tatham. Through volunteer programs, employee‑led fundraising, and our new Corporate Giving Program, we support healthcare, local charities, and community initiatives across Ontario.

Congratulations to Elham Gorouhi and the entire project team at Tatham, and thank you to our municipal partners in Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Lake of Bays, Muskoka Lakes, and Georgian Bay for trusting us with this project.

A big shout‑out as well to Tatham’s volunteers and employee‑led fundraising teams, whose passion and dedication continue to raise the bar and demonstrate the meaningful impact we can make beyond our project work.

Next Thursday at NextWave 2026 (OWWA Conference), Emily Park from our Water & Wastewater team will co present with Ben Lightbown from the Town of New Tecumseth on Town’s Water Loss Control Program.

Tatham developed and implemented a tailored approach to make the best use of the Town’s resources to control and manage the water losses. This resulted in reduced losses and steady return on investment!

If you manage water infrastructure or are considering a water loss control program, this session offers practical perspective on turning non-revenue water data into measurable results.

Come find us in Room 225.

This Earth Day, we're looking back at projects that protect, restore, and work in harmony with the natural world — supporting ecosystems, safeguarding water quality, and planning responsibly for future generations. 🌎🌿

From projects that protect species at risk and stabilize vulnerable shorelines, to innovative approaches that reduce erosion, improve aquatic habitat, and limit nutrient loading in sensitive watersheds, environmental stewardship is built into our work.

Growth, recognition, and a new chapter in Guelph.

Tatham Engineering was announced today as a Top Employer in Southwestern Ontario, recognizing our Collingwood and Guelph offices for their people first workplace culture.

The timing couldn’t be better. Just two years after opening our Guelph office, we’re already preparing to move into a new space more than twice the size of our current office. Beginning May 1, our new location at 546 Governors Road will be home to our growing team as we welcome new disciplines, new colleagues, and new opportunities.

Bonus! 🏣 The new space has a big, beautiful back patio, which we’re already looking forward to using for barbecue lunches and team gatherings this summer!

Thank you to everyone in Collingwood, Guelph, and across Tatham for continuing to build something special in each of our communities.

Building Big in Bracebridge!

We’re expanding our office—and our team—as we continue to invest in Muskoka for the long term.

Tatham has been proud to serve the Muskoka region for almost three decades. This office expansion is our way of deepening those roots: growing our team, our space, and our capacity to deliver for the communities we work in every day.

is well underway on a new addition that will double our space from 3,000 to 6,000 sq. ft., making room for more offices, more workstations, and more disciplines to call home.

We’ll be moving into the new space this summer and we're already looking for more team members to fill those brand-new desks. If a career in the heart of cottage country sounds like your kind of next chapter, we'd love to hear from you.🌲
