Thank you to GapVax, Inc.. for a great Open House in Johnstown, PA.

The day was packed with four live demos and closed with an operator rodeo: GapVax's veteran operators against their younger crew. The young guns took the win this year. We suspect a rematch is already on the calendar.

It was good to see Aarcomm remotes in hand at the event. Our devices go into machines built by OEM partners like GapVax, and seeing them out in the field with the people who run them every day is always worthwhile.

Our CEO, Jeffrey Yee, also toured the GapVax factory and heard how the company got its start from the founder himself.

"Hearing how you grew the business from humble beginnings reminded me of our own story. Hard work matters, but so do the great people who help along the way."

Fire Prevention Week runs October 4 to 10.

At Aarcomm, we took it as a chance to recognize the training our team did on September 17. Brandon from Radius Fire Protection led a hands-on fire extinguisher session, and everyone got to pull the pin and work through it themselves.

Workplace safety training like this is standard practice for teams everywhere. For us, it's also part of how we live one of our core values, Build with Heart. We care about our people, and making sure everyone knows how to respond in an emergency is part of that.

In heavy equipment, range isn't a spec. It's a safety decision.

Every jobsite has a different answer to one question: how far does the operator need to stand from the machine.

A hydrovac truck working in a tight urban excavation has different range needs than a concrete pump on an open commercial pour. Get the range wrong and you're either limiting your operator's safe positioning or paying for capability you don't need.

That's why we built two versions of our Handheld remote instead of one compromise.
