We installed 26 gauge Mirimac Snaplock in Dark Grey. Thank you to Valley Lumber for being our primary vendors and making it happen once again with the deliveries for this project. Even sending ridge vents straight to my door when we were short!

Thank you also to our customers for trusting us with your roof, and being patient for us to take the time needed to perform the highest quality install possible. Nothing is perfect on a roof replacement, and this one had plenty of tricky details to contend with, but we try our absolute best every time.

It's SO COOL to drive through the neighborhood and see 4 roofs that we've done in the last year. We've been pushing a break-neck pace, and it doesn't look like it's going to ease up any time soon, but that is the way of the builder!

Sunday shoutout... Valley Lumber!

We just received a box of apparel with our window delivery: high quality work-wear, just in time for the cold.

Building houses is hard work. Being a contractor means every single thing that can possibly go wrong is your fault, and every problem is up to you to solve. You carry the financial risks, the safety risks, and the general well-being of your team, customers, and sub contractors.

Craig has given us such incredibly good service, making deliveries happen despite a packed schedule, checking in regularly, and generally going above and beyond to help us make things happen, and always giving us the fairest prices. Anybody that helps make my job easier deserves a shoutout.

Also a big shoutout to John (Lucky Dawg) our electrician. Super fun working with you, excellent communication and once again always making it happen for us. Teamwork makes the dream work!

We started the floor system exactly 1 month ago today, and it's Friday 🥳

We're blessed to be able to put our minds and bodies to the test every day while surrounded by the forest and mountains.

Building a shelter ignites a primal sense of accomplishment, especially one that compliments it's surroundings such as this build.

Eternally grateful for our awesome homeowners that have trusted us with this opportunity to build their forever home.

We recently attended the Okanogan middle school job fair and spoke on behalf of the construction industry. Our construction-based challenges were a huge hit--in fact we were barely able to pack up our booth because the students were so engaged with our nail-driving contest.

This is a little synopsis of our story and culture here at Butler-Built. On this day of independence, I wanted to share how we exercise OUR freedom and help our country on a daily basis. If I could do anything in the world, I would still put on my bags and build. We're literally building our communities and country every time we replace a roof, build a deck, remodel a basement, or construct a new home.

I've worked insanely hard to build this company and feel so blessed to have the incredible help I have. Joseph is one of the 1%, and his growth in just 1 year with me has given him valuable skills he will have forever. Very few make it on my team; you have to have a borderline insane work ethic and passion. But that's what separates us from the herd. Joseph is an example of someone who has not given up on the American dream, and is focusing his education on practical skillsets.

Happy 4th, be safe and please don't blow anything up because our schedule is packed!

Fun fact: the concrete phase took over twice as long as the framing work below.

End product will be a 3/4 wrap-around GACO waterproof deck complete with multiple enclosed storage areas and soffit lights.

The lakehouse will be an absolute vibe when said and done and I hope we leave the homeowners with a space they favor and admire when gathering.
