Tag Day
Saturday 23 March 2024
8am-5pm
RCAFA Wing 424 (240 Water Street West)

Spring Tag Day is one of the squadron's largest fundraisers, which helps keep all activities free of charge for cadets. This is also one of the 4 mandatory attendance days throughout the training year.

***Location is at the RCAFA Wing 424- the building on Water Street with the airplane out front***

All cadets are expected to attend

Dress is full dress (Blue uniform). Cadets are to bring their parka, toque, and gloves as they will be outside a portion of the day.

Lunch is provided. We ask that parents support the meal through a pot-luck style lunch.
This year, the Ontario Provincial Committee of the Air Cadet League of Canada has set our assessment at $11,000.00, equating to approximately $125 per cadet. We are proud of all the hard work our cadets have spent and continue to spend towards raising funds to meet this goal. These funds are directly responsible for the gliding and other flying activities we can offer free of charge.

The sponsorship committee has determined that to meet our fundraising objectives, a fee of $50 per household will be applied for any Cadet unable to participate in Tag Days. We feel this fee is modest and will help to cover the ever-increasing costs of the program. Although we understand this may be a barrier to some, we would like everyone to know that by having your Cadet simply participate in the Tag Day fundraiser will remove the fee entirely and arrangement can be made by contacting the Support Committee.

Don't forget your personal water bottle.

We are pleased to announce the first of two mandatory fundraising events for our 325 Cadet Squadron. The date and time of this event is listed below. It would be greatly appreciated if you would be able to help make this event successful through volunteering your time, providing food or transportation.

Saturday October 7th, 2023 – Tag Day

• To be held at various places around the city
• Cadets to arrive at the Armouries for 8:00am
• Will need to provide lunch (remember absolutely no nuts – we will also need vegetarian & halal options for some of our cadets)
• We will also need volunteer drivers (only those who have been screened & approved by DND can transport cadets)

Thanking you in advance for your consideration, and for those parents/guardians who can assist, or will be able to attend, please contact CV Nadler. My email is [email protected] or call 613-330-6933
