Busy HVAC Company located in Courtenay, BC seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers/Journeyman to join our team. Knowledge of duct design, installation and an overall understanding of HVAC equipment a must. Shop experience considered an asset. Our main focus is new build projects consisting of single/multi family homes and light commercial projects.
Requirements:
- Must have a Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
- Must have CSA approved footwear
- Ability to meet the role’s physical requirements (lifting, carrying, standing, etc)
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently with safety as a priority
- Full-time, Permanent position
- Benefits available after successful probationary period
- Salary: $26.00-$40.00 per hour

Busy family run HVAC company looking for friendly, self motivated and dedicated individual with good organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities: Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair residential heat pumps, gas furnaces, HRV's, commercial refrigeration and packaged roof top systems.
Duties include: Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning/heat pump components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools. Start-up system and test for leaks using testing devices. Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing.
