One of the newest innovations gaining attention in the glazing industry is Vacuum Insulated Glass (VIG). While it may look like a standard glass unit, the technology inside is changing the way buildings are designed for energy efficiency.

Unlike traditional double or triple-pane windows that use air or gases such as argon between the panes, VIG uses a vacuum layer. Because a vacuum contains virtually no air, it significantly reduces the transfer of heat through the glass, providing outstanding insulation in a much thinner profile.

Why is Vacuum Insulated Glass important?

✅ Superior thermal performance – Helps keep heat inside during the winter and outside during the summer, reducing energy consumption.

✅ Thinner and lighter – Delivers insulation performance similar to triple glazing while being much thinner and lighter, making it ideal for renovations and retrofit projects where frame depth is limited.

Our team has been hard at work on this commercial curtain wall project, installing new glazing to help bring this building's exterior to life.

It all starts with sensors.
