Most people know oceans cover 71% of our planet, but what’s not as common knowledge is that 50% to 80% of all life on Earth calls marine ecosystems home. As a result, almost every business worldwide has some impact on the continued wellbeing of this immense and critical biome. Whether businesses are a force for sustainable good or not depends on the actions they take along the way. With World Ocean Day approaching next week, we challenge you to push yourself and your businesses to make sustainability a priority this year. Our future depends on it. https://www.un.org/Depts/los/reference_files/WODreferenceMaterials/WOD2013_PhotoExhibition.pdf

Since the beginning, Acadian Seaplants Limited has valued the intertidal habitats where wild seaweeds like Ascophyllum nodosum grow and has made a concerted effort to promote seaweed and water conservation methods. Part of the reason we’ve had such great success is because of our incredible Resource Science team. Hear from Dr. Bryan Morse, Resource Scientist at Acadian Seaplants Limited, to get his perspective: https://www.acadianseaplants.com/water-conservation-methods/ https://www.acadianseaplants.com/fr/methodes-conservation-eau/

Since the beginning, Acadian Seaplants has worked to preserve wild Ascophyllum nodosum. Dr. Bryan Morse highlighted our seaweed & water conservation methods.
