We’re hiring a Welder’s Helper – Summer Student!
We are looking for a motivated Summer Student to join Fire Line Group. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain welding and fabrication shop experience, develop practical skills, and learn from experienced welders in a supportive team environment.
Kickstart your welding and fabrication career working alongside experienced welders, assisting with metal preparation, fitting, measuring, cutting, and assembly while learning MIG, TIG, arc, and oxy-acetylene processes under supervision.
Gain practical skills in reading blueprints, preparing weld surfaces, setting up equipment, and maintaining an organized work environment. You’ll also support daily shop operations by handling materials, tools, and equipment while learning proper safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Gain exposure to collaborating with other trades, supporting teamwork, communication, and project success.
