Just a reminder to everybody to be aware of what is stored and how it is organized around your gas appliances. We went to service this furnace the other day and found this when we opened the closet doors to the mechanical room. It is a major fire hazard having things piled up against your furnace or other gas appliances. Customer was also lucky that during our service of the furnace we were doing our camera inspection of the heat exchanger and found heavy pitting and rust spots due to the age of the unit. Customer decided to install new 97% high efficiency furnace which will keep them warm and safe for many years ahead
