⚡️We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electrical Manager to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Canadian electrical code, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians.
Qualifications:
Must be from the Drayton Valley Area.
Red Seal Journeyman Electrician.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in industry as a Journeyman Electrician.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to various work locations and sites.
Valid driver's License with a clean 3-year driving record.
Able to work in a very fast-paced environment.
Ability to deal with high demands.
Professional with the highest level of ethics and integrity.
Good computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ability to meet short deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
Experience with cost estimation for projects.
Preference given to:
Certified Master Electrician
Experience with Instrumentation trade.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently schedule work & dispatch equipment, and employees in an organized manner.
Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and management.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations and job requirements.
Coordinate current and upcoming crews, supplies, and equipment needs with supervisors.
Organize & provide details of the materials for crew members and supervisors to perform the job.
Assist office administration with review and monitoring of field tickets for completeness, accuracy, and timely submission.
Assist with project estimation and submit quotation request for customers.
Maintain a call list of employees and contractors.
Assist with hiring and orientations/training.
Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
Respond to inquiries and process incoming calls and orders
Contacting current customers and identifying new products and services.
Providing product/service information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotes
Entering orders into the system and closing orders.
Ensuring that customers are satisfied with products, pricing, deliveries, and overall service.
Sourcing materials for customers/crew members when currently not in stock.
Arranging deliveries or pickup of materials and parts.
Opening new accounts, obtaining PO #, and submitting receipts.
Warehouse organization and material tracking.
Ensuring and enforcing compliance with policies, procedures for safety and security, standards, and regulations.
Work with the HSE department to complete monthly inspections and audits.
