On to the next ! Was a fun project ! Finished it up by trimming out the wheel wells as the wheel base was stretched 1” , the new Tacoma leaves in the rear made it ride like a cloud. Will be back for some new front springs down the road and to equal out that smooth ride it now has in the rear

Update on the Land Cruiser

Rust has been cut out and sections have been replaced, now working on doubling up those problematic sections and adding some additional support were I find necessary

We cut out and replaced a cross member, I would have like to have made it out of a bent pipe , I currently don’t have the ability to bend this wall thickness and diameter of pipe so this was the answer ( photo below) which will be more than sufficient!

This thing is gonna be a tank after !

In addition the customer opted for some longer leaf springs that will flex better

Niko at Island spring suggested we run these factory length Toyota Tacoma springs and they seam like there going to ride amazing!

looking forward to getting my hands on this old school aluminum bodied Landcruiser ! this thing is sweet and were gonna make it that much sweeter

starting with replacing the spring hangers and shackles , and fixing some improper frame repairs done at some point in its life .

this is step one of a process myself and the owner are going to undertake over the next little while. and get him out on the trail enjoying this beautiful rig!
